Optimized for outstanding dry-weather traction, enhanced stability, wear, and handling under high-torque loads, BFGoodrich's directional g-Force T/A KD tires are the best high performance, street-legal tires available today. Their proprietary BlackTech near-race tread compound provides excellent grip, while wide center ribs and a high-contact surface ratio enhance their on-center feel. Reduced tread depth stabilizes the tread blocks and lowers rotational mass, while g-Control sidewall inserts resist deflection to generate tremendous cornering force. A flat footprint increases wet grip in shallow water depths, and contributes to excellent tread wear. Dimensionally stabilized polyester carcass plies increase tire strength, smooth the ride, and provide a consistent footprint during operation. The tires also feature built-in rim protectors to prevent wheel damage, and every tire is Y-speed rated and capable of speeds of up to 186 mph.
